- Download this file first. (Click here)
- Go to custom recovery > backup and do a backup (preferably all partitions)
- Go back to recovery home > wipe > and do a factory wipe
- Flash the downloaded file from your custom recovery by going to recovery home > install > and choose the downloaded file
-Reboot and use the rom for 5 minutes (IMPORTANT)
- Now download THIS 5.1 UPDATE file.
-Go back to recovery and flash it
-Reboot your phone.
OPTIONAL STEP TO MAKE RIVER ROM 5.1 SMOOTH
- Download this file
- Create a folder in your internal memory with the name RomControl
- Inside RomControl folder, create another folder with the name Backups
- And move the downloaded file inside the backups folder
- Now open RiverROM RC app on your phone
- Open the left side panel and go to Backup & Restore (Note that there are two backup and restore options, you need to go to the second one)
- Select Restore data and hit OK.
- You may have to reboot your phone
Also go to your phone settings > developer options > and set window animation scale, Transition animation scale and Animator duration scale to 0.5.
If you cannot find Developer options in your phone settings, go to settings > general management > software info and tap Build number several times to enable the developer options menu in settings.
